Stackhouse Lane, Settle, North Yorkshire

Stackhouse Lane was a small development on the edge of Settle in the Dales National Park, a National Landscape ( formerly AONB) and in Green belt. The site was a hillside that had not been previously developed. The Council policy was to provide an affordable dwelling for each market property, Extensive negotiations were required to justify the viability appraisal to ensure the project was commercial. Shaw and Jagger have extensive experience in this field and were able to assist the client. The proposed scheme was for contemporary Dales style stone houses.
