Burmantofts, Leeds

Burmantofts Tower was a 220 apartment scheme in the centre of Leeds. The tower block was 30 stories and included residential, offices and a pharmacy at ground floor. The accommodation was designed for both families and single occupancy studios. The tower was designed to be sustainable with Trespa cladding a class O fire retardant using recycled wood. The lower floors of the building were clad in green walls to make the structure ‘softer’ and integrate into residential gardens around the tower.
