Manor Mills

Manor Mills is a residential development of 277 units consisting of studios and 1 & 2 bed apartments with retail to the ground floor. Manor Mills is located close to Leeds city centre within Holbeck Urban Village. The accommodation caters for the current market trend of high-specification contemporary interiors. As design architects we worked closely with all consultants to provide a high development of luxury apartments. The interiors and branding concept were developed with YOO design and the project involved the use of prefabricated components.
The elevations were manufactured by Kingspan On site and erected on site to provide a rapid water tight enclosure. The bathrooms were manufactured by Gateway Pods and were brought in early in the construc on process to arrive prior to the elevations to site. All aspects of the design were developed to speed up the assembly process; from the use of a post- tensioned concrete frame to the use of lift-off  roofs to the substations allowing the walls to be built into the basement concrete frame at an earlier stage in the construction.
