Algiers International Football Stadium, Algeria

The team, as a result of significant activity in Libya, were invited to put forward Ideas for a new International Football Stadium in Algiers, Algeria by the Algerian Security minister. We put forward four proposals of which the illustrated scheme was chosen to progress to further detail. The scheme was for a 80,000 seat stadium with restaurants and a hotel suite.
Given that the Security minister had survived seven assassination attempts within a year the design team chose not to present the scheme personally. Although this design did not get built a very similar design was constructed in Nigeria seven years later at Uyo Stadium
