St marks Retail Park

St Marks Retail Park comprises 400,000 sq ft of Retail units anchored by a 75,000 sq ft Debenhams Department Store. The scheme was built in two phases with the western half of the site built as a warehouse terrace of 150,000 sq ft. The Eastern section was started four years later and was part of Lincoln Town centre. The site involved the restoration of a grade 2 listed abandoned railway station, converted into an Argos Superstore, a Lakeland’s store and a visitors centre. Debenhams along with other fashion outlets made up 250,000 sq ft of prime retail. The scheme won numerous industry awards along with a government regeneration award. The scheme was used in guidance literature for city regeneration projects.
