Sabratha Retail Park

As a team we have worked in Kuwait, Algeria, Libya and Saudi Arabia on a variety of schemes for offices, airports, retail, leisure and residential schemes and we were commissioned to carry out designs for several embassies for Libyan officials.
The scheme for Sabratha Retail Park was a traditional re-imagination of an exotic Arabic Souk; a traditional arcade of small to large retail units on various floor levels and mezzanines with complementary restaurants and kiosks. The scheme comprised 300,000 sq ft of space in three linked halls with two large Restaurant Halls linking the galleries.  The proposed development was situated on the coast approximately a mile from the World Heritage site of the ancient city ruins of Sabratha.
